Check with ENT: Some people have genes that cause overproduction of wax. You may also have an irritant that is causing excessive wax production. Nevertheless, have an ENT doctor look at your ears.

Stop cleaning: Your ears make wax for 3 reasons, to moisten the skin, protect against infection and to repel water. A healthy ear makes wax, when you clean your ears you are upsetting the skin and the ear will just make more wax. Clean the very outside only and never go near the canal.
