I have been taking ibuprofen for other health issues. the past few months i have begin feeling a discomfort in my upper abdomen/stomach area. i looked up the symptoms of a stomach ulcer and think i may have developed one. any recommendations?

Stop ibuprofen: And see your PCP in follow up. Ibuprofen is notorious in causing stomach ulcers and in this context it should be discontinued. Seeing you doc will help in further explaining your symptoms and find out options for treating the condition you have been previously treating with ibuprofen.
