If i have had 3 total hip replacements as well as dozens of hip irrigations, have one leg 3 inches shorter than other and have been unable to walk for nearly two years now. can i be prescribed pain medication?

Focus on function: Your focus should remain on recovering as much as possible given the unfortunate condition you ended up in. Pain has a high psychological component and it becomes difficult to differentiate from physical pain. You should work with a dedicated rehabilitation team that would be able to cover as well physical pain.
