Good day - our 5 year old son has odd red marks on his right leg . its there permanently but gets darker when he is either cold or in the bath . it doesnt seem to bother him but would like to know if i should consult a dr ?

Since birth?: He may have birth related skin conditions such as hemangiomas. If there is rapid growth, an irregular edge or signs of infection, please see your PCP right away. If the lesions do not appear to itch or change shape, follow and periodically take a photo to show your PCP. If the lesions are itchy, there may an allergic reaction or contact dermatitis. Apply local hydrocortisone lotion twice daily.
