A member asked:

I got 1st hepatitis b vaccine in a hospital.after injection vaccinater rubbed the injection site bare handed. is that rub can transmit hep b , c as he is doing same with other people ,coming for injections, without washing hands. or it is ok?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Post-vaccine ?'s: It is not good practice to vaccinate without the use of sterile gloves, and especially with today's Co-vid-19 pandemic, viral infections can certainly occur, especially if hands are not washed between patients. Report this to the hospital administration, as this is not acceptable clinical practice.
