Yes : Resistant exercise is important for bone health. Sufficient calcium and vitamin intake are also important which can be obtained from food as well as supplementation. For those with osteopenia or osteoporosis, medications such as fosomax may be used. Once monthly oral formulations of similar product is available. A once yearly injection form is also available.
