My baby at birth had contingent hypothyroid. we had taken few blood samples at different laboratories for the results. my concern is whether any limit in volume of blood samples which can be taken per week or in a month?

minimal amount: TSH testing requires a small amount of blood and even getting tested every week will not cause harm. It is imperative to ascertain the thyroid function of the child as this hormone is related to brain development. Wish you and your child good health!

What is the difference between GPT, SGPT and ALT? My blood test says I have a GPT is 51 with an upper limit of 40? Is this something to worry or normal? I read up to 50 is considered normal but lab says 40 is normal?
Is 21 umol/l Bilirubin elevated? Lab reference says yes (17 limit) but internet shows all sorts of upper limits up to 1.5 (25 umol/l) and more. All other labs normal. What is limits in North America? Zero symptoms, just regular blood work. Thx?
