Possibly: Thyroid or pituitary gland abnormalities can cause hyperhidrosis. Is it the whole body (>100 cm2) or just in the armpits, soles or palms? Perhaps thyroid replacement hormone can help with the hyperhidrosis. However, this is not a guarantee. Mercury exposure, diabetes, and even gout can result in hyperhidrosis.

There is help/Rx.: This can be congenital with apparently autosomal dominant trait, or acquired due to conditions like gout, diabetes, or even thyroid disorders. There are many effective treatments like antiperspirants (aluminum chloride), anticholinergics, botulinum toxin, and even surgical sweat gland removal, and heat destruction by thermolysis. Your thyroid levels are normal (t3 (liothyronine) 70-190ng/dl, T4 5-12 ug/dl).
