A member asked:

My left eyelid is pulsating. it corresponds with my heart beat. ive never noticed this before. no pain. i cant feel it, but its quite visible when i look in the mirror and to other people. bp normal. heart rate normal. should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vascular anomaly?: A close examination by a physician is needed to determine whether this simply represents a pulsating small artery under skin surface that is now becoming more visible due to thinning of overlying skin or a vascular anomaly (arteio-venius malformation). The examining physician should then be able to suggest treatment if such is necessary
