Talk to your Dr.: Abdominal Pain may originate with Anxiety, but should be evaluated thoroughly to seek other underlying causes first. Talk to your Dr about a thorough History and Physical Exam to determine if there is some other condition that can be treated. Other causes of Abdominal pain can include Infection, Chronic Constipation, Appendicitis, pancreatitis, Ovarian Cyst, Gallstones, and pulled/strained muscles

Anxiety has several components: cognitive, emotional, physical & behavioral ( avoidance ). physical symptoms include any combination of: rapid heart beat, pounding heart, feeling of shortness of breath, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headache, tingling , hot flashes, chills, chest pain, lighhededness. Psychiatrist should be able evaluate & see if it is linked to your anxiety or not. be well.
