How long on average do people with bowel cancer that has spread to the liver usually live for?

Depends: Without treatment, months. If the cancer responds to chemotherapy, then can be years. If it does not respond, months. If the area in the liver can be removed, then survival potentially can be prolonged. Hope this helps.
