See your Dr.: Any Dr's office or urgent care can apply the test for TB. It is a small injection made subcutaneously. The site is covered with a bandage and looked at 2 days later by a nurse or Dr to determine if it is positive. If it is positive (the site of the injection is red and inflamed), the Dr will send the child for a Chest Xray and will prescribe 6-9 months of medication. All ages need to be tested.
