PPD: Only a qualified medical personnel can do it. The diameter across the e duration or swelling ( and not erythema) needs to be measured. Latest guidelines differ for positive results for a healthy person ( greater than 10mm) to immune- compromised person ( greater than 5 mm).

PPD: The PPD skin test is a method used to diagnose silent (latent) tuberculosis (TB) infection. Ppd stands for purified protein derivative. Larger reactions (greater than or equal to 10 mm) are considered positive in: people with a known negative test in the past 2 years people with diabetes, kidney failure, or other conditions that increase their chance of getting active tb health care workers others.

Examine or other per: Two days after you had the PPD inserted subdural in your forearm run your finger over the spot if there is no bump or razing of the area and is flat it considered negative if a raising it has to measured and over 10 mm it is positive a professional should read it if positive you must have xray and possibly other tests if uncertain please see a professional.
