My 12 yearold is getting a lot of pimples on her face and chest what must i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dr can do video exam: Dr can decide if acne (or some other disorder). If it is acne, over-the-counter 2.5% benzoyl peroxide gel or cream can be quite helpful. An "acne wash" is not needed. If desired, the doctor can add an antibiotic gel or cream such as Cleocin (clindamycin) gel. If more help is needed, a doctor uses retinoids such as Retin-A or Differin gel. It can take 3 weeks to months for acne to see improvement.
