Talk to your Dr : LCL injury is most commonly seen in gymnasts and tennis players. It occurs in a direct blow or force to the medial side of the knee. Symptoms include midline tenderness, difficulty climbing/descending stairs, problems with changing directions or pivoting, instability near full knee extension. Treatment depends on the severity: Grade 1/2- Immobilization, Physical therapy. Grade 3 or worse- surgery
