See his doctor: Please have him see his doctor. Rashes are best diagnosed by seeing them. That way any further questions of other symptoms and exposures can be asked about and then proper treatment can be prescribed. This may be a contact irritation rash, but also could be a skin infection, especially if he has a fever or this is blistering or crusting of the area.
