COVID 19 concerns: Undiluted lsopropyl or rubbing alcohol with at least 70 % alcohol will kill coronavirus on surfaces in about 30 secs. Straight 3% hydrogen peroxide solution takes out rhinovirus – which is tougher to kill than coronavirus – in 6 to 8 minutes, and so should be at least as quick in disinfecting coronavirus. 60% alcohol can also be used but 70% is preferable.
