Have people who have recovered from covid reported that they are now having bad reactions to alcohol/drinking, meaning tolerance is down and behavior reaction is different than is was pre-covid exposure?

There are no such reports in the medical literature. However, it would not be surprising if tolerance or side effects from alcohol sometimes change, perhaps especially in people with long covid. This doesn't mean this is the explanation in your case, but it would be reasonable to check with your doctor if this continues. Good luck.

If you were an alcoholic before COVID than it may be possible for your body to react to alcohol because of the many effects of COVID. I and my other dentist friend, both of us hospitalized with COVID go out once a month for the past two years and drink a bottle of wine and one alcoholic drink and have never had any reactions or behavioral problems. It seems that non hospitalized persons are.
