Do a pregnancy test: Abnormal bleeding after discontinuation of hormonal contraceptives is very common. It can last up to 6 months for your body to re-regulate back to normal hormonal cycles. If you have not been using other protection, screen for pregnancy using a home pregnancy test. If it comes back positive, see your OB/Gyn Dr to evaluate the current bleeding and abdominal pain.
