A member asked:

Need antibiotics for sore gums ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No you don't: Pills alone will not fix gum disease. you need Dentist-directed hands-on treatment coupled with an upgrade in our personal oral hygiene. Antibiotics may be required to limit spread to other organ systems, but alone will not cure gum disease. Please see your General Dentist or preferably a specialist Periodontist.
