Dry skin: Are you applying moisturizing lotion properly? It's best to apply it after showering while the skin is still wet as this locks in the oils. Very dry skin can occur in very dry environment, from underactive thyroid,with use of harsh soaps and detergents,too many hot showers and baths and in certain skin disorders. A dermatologist can advise you further.
