A member asked:

I've read from you that it is safe to get botox while receiving remicade. my question is that i thought botox was "live", so isn't there a risk of getting the disease, same as with live vaccines?

No risk, no worry: Apparently you have misunderstood something you read. Botox® is botulinum toxin, the chemical that causes paralysis in the rare food poisoning called botulism. It's a chemical, not alive in any sense. Immunosuppressive drugs like infliximab (Remicade®) have no effect on side effects or toxicity of Botox.
