Is it possible to get a nerve conduction test & not an emg? i have very severe anxiety with needles & the only way i would be able to do an emg is if i was knocked out. my occupational therapist thinks i may have trapped nerves on ulnar side?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and it is possible that you may not need EMG. It would be helpful to consult your primary care provider and if needed a rehabilitation medicine specialist. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV vaccine.
