SURE: If you have symptoms of an underactive thyroid, but your TSH is "normal", you can still have an underactive thyroid and need to be on thyroid meds, both to feel better physically and help with conception. Tsh, altho it may indicate hypothyroidism in many patients, is not the ultimate test for this condition! a patients symptoms are very significant, even if her blood tests are "normal.".
