I was told that i have tricompartmental arthritis in the left knee. i just had an episode of left kneecap shifting laterally and coming off the track. i am now unable to put weight on the leg. please help and explain?

The recent knee cap (patella) lateral dislocation is less likely related to the tricompartmental arthritis of the left knee although one of the compartment is patellofemoral compartment.
