Is it true do not put your feet near heat especially if you have neuropathy?

Yes.: People with neuropathy may have trouble sensing temperature, and this can be a setup for problems because they don't know their skin is getting too hot if near a source of heat.

Yes, true: Neuropathy can cause issues with temperature sensation and can lead to burns fairly quickly. This is not only true for heat, but also extreme cold. If you have neuropathy, leaving ice on a spot too long can have almost as damaging effects as getting too close to a heat source.
