Basics: Magnets (plural) are a problem if they end up in separate parts of the digestive tract and are drawn together by their strength. If they are strong enough (like rare earth magnets) they can pinch the tissue in between & cause the tissue to lose its blood supply, eventually causing a hole in the intestines. This can lead to a spillage of contents including germs & lead to death if not treated.
