Chondromalacia patel: I am assuming your are referring to the knee since you didn't specify. chondromalacia patellae is when there is damage to the cartilage the is attached to the inner surface of the knee cap. It can cause pain. Treatments can include rest, use of non-steroidal inflammatory medicactions and physical therapy.
