A member asked:

If someone is diagnosed with congenital lumbar spinal stenosis, can that person assume that the rest of the spine would be congenitally stenotic as well?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: One should only expect the narrowing or "stenosis" effect the site the label it is applied to. This does not infer a narrowing of the channel from top to bottom or other sites.
