Good morning, i travelled from johannesburg to durban by car. i started feeling pressure in my right ear and this became quite painful. i went to the pharmacy and they gave me demazin, it cleared my nasal passage but did not help with the ear?

See a doctor: I would recommend you see a doctor. You may have an ear infection which may need an antibiotic. Antihistamines (demazin) may help with congestion in your nasal passages but wouldn't clear up fluid or infection in your middle ear. Sometimes ear infections are caused by viruses which would not need an antibiotic, but if this is lasting, best to see a doctor to evaluate and possibly treat.
