Tobacco use: I am not an ENT specialist. However, if is often recommended that one not use tobacco for 2 to 3 weeks after tonsillectomy as it can adversely impact healing. As some one who cares about people's health - I might suggest using this break from tobacco/ nicotine use as an opportune time to quit use.
