Not Particularly: Pregnancy can cause your gingiva to be inflamed and red, but no real direct correlation to extreme pain. You may have dental issues that have been undiagnosed. It may be best to have your dentist check things out just incase.

Hormonal: With pregnancy comes a change in hormonal levels, allowing tendons and ligaments to stretch a bit more. This could have contributed to displacement of the disc in your jaw joint. Discuss this with your Dentist. And congratulations.
