Talk to your Dr.: When you threw up, did you see the pill? Was it more than 30 minutes after you took the medication? Talk to your prescribing Dr for instructions. if you saw the pill come back up, then they may suggest retaking a dose. if no pill, or more than 30 minutes then they may tell you to hold off until the next dose is due. Be sure to stay in a place where you will not hurt yourself if you have a seizure.

Usually OK but...: If you've been on the same antiepileptic for a while and seizure has been well controlled, you are likely protected for more than a day. In case seizure has not been under good control and you are unable to tolerate oral intake more than a few hours, you can get a help from hospital ER.
