Depends: On the facility’s requirements. Many offices use only a questionnaire and checking temperature, some may ask for a test, conditions as to location and timing with regard to surgery will need to be reconciled with respective office/ facility.

COVID 19 : Many facilities do require COVID 19 testing prior to surgeries (especially if elective). However, you will need to check the policy at the medical facility where the surgery is being done.
