Dental eruption: At 25 months 12 is average number of baby teeth to have erupted, with the 2 year and 3 year molars yet to go.. Your child should have been under the care of a Dentist since his 1st birthday. The Dentist should have, by now, taken x-rays to establish normal dentition development. As he has aberration in eruption pattern, recommend that he see a Children's Dental Specialist, a Pedodontist.
