Disc nomenclature: Hi, It does not sound you gave the full information re: your spine injection. Into the L4 what? Foramen? Disc? Facet? One side vs both? Disc issues and epidural injections are typically reported by the disc level which is named by TWO bones (one above and one below). Example might be L4-5. Assuming no fever/chills/night sweats (infection), there are odd side effects of steroids on occasion
