Unrelated: The "level 1-5" doctor visit coding system in the US is for telling the payor (usually the insurer) the extent of care and/or time spent related to a particular visit. The level 1-5 has nothing to do with the specialty of the visit. It has to do with how much work and/or time was needed by the doctor to care for the patient. So, a new patient visit to any doctor can be a level 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
