A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very variable: Symptoms of pulmonary embolism range from sudden death to being silent. Usual symptoms are chest pain, shortness of breath, cough and coughing up blood. You need to watch for DVT that precede pulmonary embolism. Visit this site for info on DVT: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/deep-vein-thrombosis/symptoms-causes/syc-20352557 Wish you good health!
