A member asked:

Is mucus when pooping normal? i'm not so sure if it's vaginal discharge that was pushed out actually.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be: A small amount of mucus is normal. If there is a large or regular mount it could be a bacterial infection, fissure, bowel obstruction, or Chron's disease. IF there is regular mucus seeing your PCP would be a good idea.
