Maybe: Smok of any sort may trigger a wheezing event in an asthma patient. It would suggest they have marginal control but could be an acute sensitivity to the debris in that particular smoke. Either way I would try to improve your asthma control.

Reactive airways?: Agree with Dr. Ferguson. When you breath foriegn materials into your lungs- it can potentially cause a reaction - especialy if you might have underlying reactive airway disease. Have you considered staying away from cannabis smoke? Consider getting lungs checked out?
