Multilayer approach: Try a multilayer approach. Topical Calamine or topical anesthetic, oral antihistamines (claritin, allegra) Benadryl for night, and oral steroids to reduce the itchiness in 3 different ways. Pityriasis Rosea usually clears itself in 7-9 months.
