Spondy losis v. itis: The speckled pattern is produced by antibodies to sm, rnp, ro/ssa, la/ssb, scl-70, centromere, pcna, and other antigens, rarely seen in ap, a seronegative spondyloarthropathy. Accurate interpretation of different nuclear patterns is neither sensitive nor specific. As a result, no single pattern denotes a single disease and, conversely, several diseases may produce a particular ANA pattern.

All are unrelated: None of those issues is related. Spondylolysis is an instability in the lower back. An ANA of1:80 in a speckled pattern probably has no clinical significance for anything and is totally unrelated to either of the 2 back problems. Ank spondy is an inflammatory disease of ligamentous insertions in the spine.
