is it possible to get pregnant without breaking hymen.. ?

1 doctor answer
Dr. James Ferguson
46 years experience Pediatrics
Unlikely/ possible: Any fertile sperm that made it into the vagina could travel up through the cervix & result in pregnancy. The chances are small but exist. Penetration of the hymen by an erect penis with release of sperm in greater quantity would be a much greater risk.
