Acute bronchitis: In my experience, acute bronchitis is mostly a bilateral bacterial infection and when physical findings only show abnormalities on one side of the chest months later I think of bronchiectasis or other lung pathology. What are your chest xray findings? I'm quite concerned about your symptoms which include hemoptysis. I strongly recommend that you consult a pulmonologist for evaluation and treatme

Not likely: Bronchitis episodes are self limited and your symptoms are suggesting a different source. Work up will be needed, specifically with new onset hemoptysis, or blood in sputum. Best would be to start with your treating physician as imaging will likely be needed and compared with previous from 3 years ago.
