I have had a sore throat for about 2 weeks now went to a doctor about it and she said it was eustachian tube dysfunction but has not gone away?

Listen to your body: Something is irritating your throat. It is possible that you are having reflux into the pharynx which is causing the irritation. Doing things to prevent reflux may help such as eating small meals, and avoiding irritating foods or pulling down a hiatal hernia. A chronic post nasal drip could irritate your throat. Avoid dairy, wheat, and sugar and drinking warm liquids like home made chicken broth.
