My wife has stargardt disease and we are thinking of having a baby. but she doesn't want to have one if the baby will also get it. who must we see to find out if there is a chance for the baby to get it aswell?

These are often found at teaching or children's hospitals as part of their specialty staff. The disorder is listed as most often a recessive disorder, meaning both parents must carry but not show the defect, but rare dominant forms exist. A genetacist could sort out your case.
