At night one nostril clogs. no other symptoms. have deviated septum. keep home very clean (dusting, heavy vacuum, air purifier). i do have seasonal allergies. tried: nasacort, xyzal, saline, allegra d.possible nose is dried out from meds?other ideas?

Inflammation/exam: Since you have a deviated septum, one nasal passage may be smaller and obstructs more easily in response to inflammation. Nasal saline, cool air mist and trying another steroid spray such as Flonase AQ instead may be used. ENT follow up recommended. There are higher volume delivery systems for nasal saline available. Avoid pollen exposure by keeping windows closed.
