U In Others' Mirrors: Weight loss/gain -esp a large & rapid loss/gain- is often very unsettling. We get used 2seeing ourselves thru others -by how they speak to us/treat us. Weight loss/gain tends 2get others speaking 2us & treating us differently. Their words & actions can feel "judgy" & can shake our very sense of self. E.G. Common 4people who lose a weight 2hear "u look great!" [so did i look terrible 2u b4?].
