Does having trich affect the color of your blood while on your cycle?

Trichomoniasis: I was not aware of color changes to menstrual blood with Trichomonas infections so I tried researching this and did not find it reported. The discharge seen with Trich can be white, gray, yellow, or green. I am assuming if the discharge is mixed in with blood - it might make some changes to color. It usually has an unpleasant smell.
