Lagopthalmos: Lagophthalmos is a condition that prevents your eyes from closing completely. If it happens when you sleep, it's called nocturnal lagophthalmos. The condition is usually harmless, but it can leave your eyes vulnerable to damage. Depending on the severity (how open your eyelids are) a Dr may choose to do Surgery, implant weights, or attempt to treat underlying nerve damage. Use eye drops daily.
